john benedetto
John "Detto" Benedetto is a writer, director and editor based in Washington, DC. He holds an M.A. in Film and Video with a Concentration in Screenwriting from American University, and has written for CAE, the FBI, and HGTV. He has completed six spec screenplays and is currently putting the finishing touches on his first novel. On the post production side, Detto has edited five feature length films and is an award-winning VFX artist, and edited six different true crime reality TV series. When not editing the latest episode about the horrible things humans can do to one another, Detto can usually be found at the dog park with his two rescue mastiffs.
Matt mcnevin
Matt McNevin is an award-winning independent filmmaker based in the Washington, DC area. His films and screenplays have been recognized for excellence by festivals and contests across the country. He has been the recipient of two Television, Internet and Video Association Peer Awards and was part of the team on a short film that was awarded a CINE Golden Eagle. For the past twelve years, Matt has taught screenwriting as an adjunct professor at American University where he earned his M.F.A. in Film and Electronic Media. He has also spent the past ten years shooting and directing a feature documentary about open mike stand-up comedy with grants from the DC Humanities Council and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. The film is entitled “Open Mike Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love to Bomb” and will be completed in 2017.

Tom Benca is a cinematographer based in the Washington, DC area. He attended SUNY Fredonia where he received a BS in Video Production and a minor in music with a concentration in sound recording. He later enrolled in the MFA in Film and Electronic Media program at American University. He has shot several feature-length films, web series, music videos, documentaries, corporate videos and commercials. In addition to his cinematography work, he is an award-winning editor and has produced and directed many projects for a variety of government agencies.
